1983

Dwight Asset Management Company is founded by John Dwight.

1994

United Asset Management purchases Dwight.

1998

Dwight acquires the Laughlin Group.

2000

Old Mutual plc purchases United Asset Management, and Dwight becomes one of many affiliate investment firms of Old Mutual Asset Management, a subsidiary of Old Mutual plc.

Dwight acquires the client relationships and fixed income investment team of its affiliate, Dewey Square Investors Corporation.

2012

Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) acquires Dwight as a wholly owned subsidiary.
